Venetian experience
You will start mornings with an Italian coffee and on the balcony of a historic Venetian palace, we will take a beautiful boat ride and discover city's hidden gems.
You get invitations to three preview parties at the Venetian palaces (Palazzo Mora and Palazzo Bembo on Gran Canal and the Giardini Marinaressa next to the Biennale Gardens).

Venice Biennale Revealed is perfect for curious creative minds, architects and artsts, independent curators and collectors. Art and architecture lovers and students looking for inspiration and knowledge are also welcome. No prior experience is required. On average there are around 11 nationalities per group.

The course was developed for art professionals but also attracts art lovers wishing to learn more about the Biennale. This course is for you is you are looking for inspiration and insights on the art market.
Together we explore the famous exhibition together with insiders and learn the ways to become a part of it. The idea of the programme is to give you a deep understanding of the Biennale as organization and give you direct access to the relevant players. Most of the Biennale projects are international, our goal is to help you start your project in Venice from whenever you are now.
The course is a balanced combination of lectures, Q&As, visits to galleries, museums and biennale locations. You will start at 10.00 and finish around 16.00. Usually participants have drinks and other social activities in the evening.
The fee includes the following:
- Classes and tuition
- Study files / materials
- Tickets to museums and exhibitions that are part of the schedule
- European Cultural Centre exhibition catalogue
- Welcome coffee, beverages and snacks during the classes
- Goodie bag with a map of Venice, notebook and a pen

- One hour ride on the luxury boat around Venice.
If you need to apply for a visa to attend a course at ECA we will support you with an official invitation letter. In order to receive the official invitation letter you need to register and pay the tuition fee. You will need to apply for the Schengen tourist visa independently. Please contact your local consulate or visa agency to inquire about required documents and appointments. We recommend to apply early for our courses, to ensure sufficient time to process your visa.
Please note, If your visa does not get granted, we will withhold 100 Euros administration fee. We can only issues the official invitation letter, after we have received the payment.

We use the most advanced payment security systems. Pay by credit card, Paypal or bank transfer. Write us an email if you would like to pay in 3 monthly installments of 384 EURO.
ECA is closely monitoring the news and government actions in connection to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety and best interest of our students has always been our priority.
We plan to hold all our courses face-to-face. During the courses ECA follows strict safety regulations suggested by Italian and Dutch governments. Our last art course was held in August 2021 and was safe for all the participants.
In case of COVID-19 related restrictions we will postpone the course to a later date. You will be able to transfer your participation free of charge to any course in 2022 or you will receive a 100% refund. ECA will only withhold an administration fee of 35 euro.
